Exes & Ohs is an American and Canadian cable TV series which launched on Logo on October 8, 2007 as well as Showcase in Canada. The show is about the dating life of Jennifer. She is a lesbian documentary filmmaker with a vivid fantasy life and a floundering career. Jennifer is looking for Ms. Right and must navigate the rules of lesbian dating life, most of which she learns the hard way.
The series is based on the Ten Rules: A Lesbian Survival Guide, created, written & directed by Michelle Paradise. It is shot in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada but is set in Seattle.
Six half-hour episodes of Exes and Ohs fly right by in this clever show’s first season. Directed by Lee Friedlander, Exes and Ohs humor is a careful blend of satire and sincerity, as mini-dramas in each saga mock elucidate the do’s and don’ts of lesbian social and romantic codes. Each of the characters, based on clichéd “lesbian types,” explode the clichés as the characters become rounder. The episodes are “hosted” by documentary filmmaker, Jennifer (Michelle Paradise), who periodically breaks out of character to describe the “rules” of lesbianism, as she learns them. Her best friend and former lover, Sam (Marnie Alton), is a free-spirited, sexy bombshell that provides a foil to Jennifer’s tendencies to over-think creative work and relationships. The main story concerns Jennifer’s traumatic breakup with Sienna (Darby Stanchfield), and Sam’s efforts to get Jennifer dating again. Their network of friends, always gathering at the Beever Café, include Kris (Angel (more…)

Odd / Strange / Funny
I had never heard of this show but found it on Amazon. The characters are likeable and the plot’s are acceptable for a sit-com venue.

It’s light-hearted but provides a witty and realistic picture of some of the obstacles of lesbian life!
Interesting and fun
